Nitrox Diver (includes 2 dives)

This is the entry level certification course for recreational divers wishing to utilize enriched air nitrox (EAN) as a breathing gas. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using nitrox mixes from 22% to 40% oxygen content.

SDI Computer Nitrox Diver (includes 2 dives)

The SDI Computer Nitrox course is a great next step after the Open Water Diver certification and is structured in an easy to understand manner by making use of a Nitrox programmable computer.  Nitrox is a breathing gas that has a lot of benefits for both new and experienced divers.  The course will cover the use of Nitrox mixtures from 22% to 40%  oxygen.

The benefits of using Nitrox include 

  • Increased safety margins
  • Reduced post dive fatigue
  • Extended no-decompression times

 

Advanced Nitrox Diver (includes 4 dives)

This course examines the use of EAN 21 through 100% (oxygen) for optimal mixes to a depth of 130fsw/40msw. The object of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing EAN 21 through 100% (oxygen) for dives not requiring staged decompression. (Decompression techniques may be combined with this course at the discretion of the instructor).

Decompression Procedures - (includes 4 dives)

This course examines the theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive not exceeding a maximum depth of 150fsw/45msw unless taught in conjunction with advanced nitrox, Extended Range or Advanced Wreck Courses. The most common equipment requirements, gear set-ups, decompression techniques and decompression mixtures (including oxygen and nitrox) are presented.

Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures (includes 6 dives)

This course examines the theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving in conjunction with the use of Nitrox. The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive using Nitrox not exceeding a maximum depth of 150fsw/45msw, Extended Range or Advanced Wreck Courses. The most common equipment requirements, gear set-ups, decompression techniques and decompression mixtures (including oxygen and nitrox) are presented.

Extended Range Diver (includes 6 dives)

This course provides the training and experience required to competently utilize air for dives up to 180 fsw/55msw that require staged decompression, utilizing Nitrox mixtures and oxygen during decompression.

Open Water Diver

As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. If you already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba Diver certified, check with your instructor to see how credit from these courses may apply to the open water program.

Advanced Open Water Diver

The Adventures in Diving program offers both the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. If you complete any three adventure dives, you can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Take the first step in your dive career and become a PADI Divemaster. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you'll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a dive professional. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.
