Cathedral Cave
PIERCY ISLAND(Motukokako Island)
Intermediate to advanced max depth 60m, 30m at the entrance are boulders, great variety of fish life, get large pelagic fish. At the back are often large rays. Do not surface in the middle of the cave as there’s lots of boat traffic. Fantastic walls on the right as you exist good for Deco and safety stops.

Putahataha Island

Cave at 16m on the SW side of the Island.

Kariparipa Point West
Intermediate to advanced.
Boulders at 30m great variety of fish life and wall dive to the North,
max depth 45m out on the sand.

Kariparipa Point East
Open Water Divers 10m-24m.
Boulders good fish life with swim thru's and caves. Watch your depth as it does drop off to the West.

BIRD ROCK (Mahenotapuku Rock)
Intermediate to advanced max depth 50m, Boulders at 25m great variety of fish life, get large pelagic fish, often sharks. Watch the current and serge, home to the occasional seals over cooler months.

PIG GULLY (Ohututea Bay)
Open Water 8m-26m.
An interesting dive with a good variety of fish.

THE DOG (Tiheru Island)
Intermediate to advanced
Max depth 50m.
Boulders at 25m great variety of fish life, get large pelagic fish, occasional Sharks. Big currents and lots of boat traffic over summer.

Back Side (NNE)
PIERCY ISLAND(Motukokako Island)
Advanced max depth 70+m.
30m at the entrance are boulders, great variety of fish life, get large pelagic fish, occasional Sharks.  Fantastic wall dive with huge boulders at 55m, swim thru at 46m,nice shelf for Deco and safety stops. Watch for boat traffic.

The Sisters (Motutara Rock)
Intermediate to advanced max depth 47m, Boulders at 30m great variety of fish life, large pelagic fish, occasional Sharks. Watch the current and surge.

Sonic Boom Cave
Open Water Divers
entrance at 14m and is
approx 40m to the back (torch required). Aptly named because of the 'sonic boom'-like sound created when the wave hits the top of the cave. You can feel the sound waves pass through you! Strong surge as you enter but subsides at the back.

Big Eyes Lair
Open Water Divers
Swim thru entrance is at 24m
and is approx 38m long (torch required). Named because it’s home to thousands of Big Eye fish, at the top of the swim thru are Bastard Cod.

Danger Rock
Intermediate to advanced
Watch the current and surge
max depth 56m
This dive has it all swim thru's, walls, guts, canyons and boulders, large Black Coral Trees, a great variety of fish life including
large pelagic fish.

Pillar Rock
Open Water Divers 27m.
Good fish life with the occasional cray.

The Nursery
Open Water Divers 14m,
Good fish life low lying reef.

Homer Reef
Open Water Divers 27m.
Good fish life, reef with kelp and
the occasional Black spotted Groper.

Boar Fish Cave
Open Waters Divers 20m max.
Large Cave with sandy bottom and rear exit. Giant Boar fish are seen in this area.

Home Point
Open Water Divers 25m.
Good fish life, reef-fingers.

Cone Rock
Open Water Divers 17m.
Good fish life low lying reef.

Waiwiri Rock
Intermediate to advanced max depth 45m, great variety of fish life, get large pelagic fish and occasional Sharks. Watch the current and surge.

Net Rock
Open Water Divers 30m.
Good fish life with the occasional cray.
